  1. Evolution EVS-1 Utility Data

  4. The Utility Data is used to globally 
  5. configure the EVS-1. Two settings must 
  6. be correct for use with Midi Quest.
  7.  
  8. 1) The Midi Channel must be set to the 
  9. same as the Communication and Midi 
  10. Channel in Midi Quest for successful 
  11. communications.
  12.  
  13. 2) Memory Protect must be set OFF for 
  14. data to be transferred from Midi Quest 
  15. to the EVS-1.

  17. Note: Utility data can be updated on the 
  18. EVS-1 even when Memory Protect is on.
